My journey with flowers began 20 years ago, inspired by my family’s shared love of nature. My father, an agronomist, dedicated much of his life to greening and beautifying my hometown of Volgograd, while my brother continues our family’s connection with nature through his work in landscape design. Growing up surrounded by people who appreciate the beauty of plants, I developed a deep connection with nature myself.

Over the years, I explored different paths and discovered new sides of myself. Yet, I always felt an irresistible pull towards floristry — a longing for creativity, beauty, and the freedom to express myself through flowers.

Determined to master my craft, I completed a range of specialised floristry courses, learning about flower care, arrangement techniques, and different design styles. I worked in leading floral studios in Volgograd, honing my skills across a variety of styles and approaches while developing my own artistic vision.

When I came to Australia, I was captivated by its extraordinary floral diversity. Its unique native flora, with distinctive shapes and colours, offers so much beauty, yet I felt it was often underappreciated. I founded PhloxStudio to showcase this beauty in new ways, bringing together two decades of experience and a deep passion for floral artistry to create unique designs for your most special occasions.

Whether creating flowers for an intimate celebration or styling a grand event, I love working with each client’s vision to create something personal, meaningful, and memorable.

For me, floristry is about more than arranging beautiful flowers. It is about transforming spaces, evoking emotions, and creating beautiful settings for life’s most meaningful moments.

Today, one of my greatest joys is seeing my clients’ faces light up when they experience my creations. That connection inspires me to keep learning, experimenting, and bringing new ideas to life.
